FanimeCon Fashion Show Designer Application form

Thank you for your interest in the FanimeCon 2024 J-Fashion Shows! We will be hosting two separate fashion shows in order to showcase a variety of J-Fashion styles.

Our Pop! Fashion Show is most suitable for those whose designs fall under the general J-Fashion umbrella, such as fairy kei, decora, menhera, gyaru, mori, and wafuku. It will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Our Elegant Fashion Show is most suitable for those whose designs can be described as lolita fashion, EGA, ouji, and otome, and will take place on Sunday, May 26, 2024, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

You may apply to participate in both shows if you feel that you have designs that suit both themes.

Designers are expected to show anywhere from three to eight looks per show. Model selection will start on April 8, 2024. Designers must confirm their final look count and model choices with J-Fashion staff by April 15, 2024. Model selection is first come, first served.

This application is for submitting looks to the fashion show only. If you are interested in selling your designs in our J-Fashion Market, you must fill out a separate application form.

Designers selected for the fashion shows will be prioritized to sell in the J-Fashion Market Please note, designers who are planning to sell items at the J-Fashion Market must attend the convention in-person.

FanimeCon’s 2024 theme is ‘Fan Prix,’ which you are welcome to take inspiration from, but following the theme is not required.

Fashion Show Designer Applications should be received by Thursday, February 22nd.
