FanimeCon Fashion Show Designer Application form

Thank you for your interest in the FanimeCon 2023 J-Fashion Shows! This year we are offering J-Fashion designers the opportunity to apply to one or both of our fashion shows.

Our Elegant Fashion Show is most suitable for those who design styles that can be described as lolita fashion, EGA, ouji, otome, natural kei, mori, etc. and will take place on Saturday, May 27, 2023, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Our Pop! Fashion Show is most suitable for those who design styles that can be described as fairy kei, decora, menhera, gyaru, etc. and will take place on Sunday, May 28, 2023, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

You may apply to participate in both shows if you feel that you have designs that suit both themes.

Designers are expected to show anywhere from three to eight looks MAXIMUM. Model options for designers will be made available starting on April 3, 2023. Designers must confirm their final look count and model choices with J-Fashion staff by April 15, 2023. Model selection is first come, first served.

Designers selected for the fashion shows will be prioritized to sell in the Trunk Show. Please note, designers who are planning to sell items at the Trunk Show must attend the convention in-person.

FanimeCon’s 2023 overall theme is ‘Postal Service,’ which you are welcome to take inspiration from, but you are not required to follow any theme.

Fashion Show Designer Applications should be received by Wednesday, February 22nd.
