Attendee Relations staff are responsible for customer service, peace-bonding, & line and crowd control at FanimeCon. If you enjoy walking around & interacting with attendees while also getting a behind-the-scenes peek at how the con is run, this is a great department for you!
Looking for a new experience this upcoming FanimeCon? The Attendee Relations department is looking for people to help make the convention a better place. We’re an ever-growing event and now is your chance to give back! As part of Attendee Relations, you will help patrol the convention center, making sure members are safe and being respectful. All of our staff were once attendees like yourself! They’ve taken on the challenge of improving FanimeCon by directly affecting it behind-the-scenes. Join this exclusive experience to see what makes us tick.
Being Attendee Relations staff does come with some perks: a free full-weekend badge, discounted hotel prices, and fun stories to share with new friends.
If you are interested in joining the Attendee Relations family, please consider the following:
1. You must be 16 years of age or older by the start of FanimeCon.
2. We ask that you make a minimum of 3 training meetings (either in-person or online) to ensure that you are well-prepared with the challenges that you will face at FanimeCon.
3. All staff members must volunteer a minimum of 24 hours throughout the 5 days of the convention.
4. You should have a love for the community that is FanimeCon, and must be willing to step up to the tasks that are given to you during your shifts!
