2024 Contest Rule Changes

Before you begin, please be sure to read our Karaoke Contest Rules
We've made changes this year with the intent of making the process easier. In short:

All fields with a * are required.

About Your Entry
  1. This is how we will refer to you on stage.
    If you are an individual entrant, this is can be your first name, or your professional name, or an online name.
    If you are a group entry, this can be the first names of your group members, or a specific name for your full group.

  2. This is where we will email confirmations

  3. If you'd like to receive SMS text messages from contest staff (such as a confirmation message during Fanime), enter a phone number here. Otherwise, you can leave this blank

  4. We will try to accommodate all preferences, but can make no guarantees.

About You
  1. This can be 'She/Her', 'He/Him', 'They/Them', or whichever set of pronouns is best to refer to you.

About Your Group
  1. Please add in your full names, one per line

  2. These can be 'She/Her', 'He/Him', 'They/Them', or whichever set of pronouns is best.
    Please be sure to note which pronouns are for which group member.

Preliminary Song Selection

Please make sure you've read our rules regarding song eligibility before you proceed!

For the first round, what song will you sing?
The song limit for the first round is 90 seconds, or one verse and chorus. Please plan accordingly.

It is very important that you read through the rules of this contest before agreeing to participate. There are certain restrictions on songs and conduct that are designed to create a fair, even, and fun contest for all participants. These are more specific than the rules for some of our other events or for open mic.
