FanimeCon Fashion Show Designer Application form

Thank you for your interest in the FanimeCon 2025 J-Fashion Shows! We will be hosting two separate fashion shows in order to showcase a variety of J-Fashion styles.

Our Pop! Fashion Show is most suitable for those whose designs fall under the general J-Fashion umbrella, such as fairy kei, decora, menhera, gyaru, mori, and wafuku. It will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Our Elegant Fashion Show is most suitable for those whose designs can be described as lolita fashion, EGA, ouji, and otome, and will take place on Sunday, May 25, 2025, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

You may apply to participate in both shows if you feel that you have some designs that are best suited for the Pop! theme and other designs that are more suited for the Elegant theme.

Designers are expected to show anywhere from three to eight looks per show. Model selection will start on April 7, 2025. Designers must confirm their final look count and model choices with J-Fashion staff by April 14, 2025. Model selection is first come, first served.

This application is for submitting looks to the fashion show only. If you are interested in selling your designs in our J-Fashion Market, you must fill out a separate application form.

Designers selected for the fashion shows will be prioritized to sell in the J-Fashion Market. Please note, designers who are planning to sell items at the J-Fashion Market must attend the convention in-person.

FanimeCon’s 2025 theme is ‘Matsuri,’ which you are welcome to take inspiration from, but following the theme is not required.

Fashion Show Designer Applications should be received by Saturday, January 25, 2025.
