About Your Circle and You

  1. This is how we would reference the circle behind your works. This should be your studio name.
    If you are a solo circle, this can be the same as your professional name.

  3. This should be your professional name, and is how we would reference you. This is your artist name.

  5. This should be a list of who else is in your circle. All individuals who have contributed materially to any works presented MUST be included, even if they will not be participating in the event. Members who also wish to participate must apply separately. Please be sure your Circle Name and listed members match.

About Your Work

  1. All games being sold must be complete at the time of sale—no alphas, betas, or "early access" games.

  7. 18+/R18 content refers not simply to pornography, but any content that may not be suitable for minors. As a general rule of thumb, any works that as a movie or video game would receive an R or M rating or that one would otherwise expect a young-looking adult to be asked to show ID before viewing can generally be considered 18+. Please see the Content/Participation Policy & Guidelines section of the Manga Ichiba Information Guide for more details.

    As R18 works are not allowed to be sold during the all ages period failure to properly report your content MAY result in some or all of your works being restricted from sale.

Portfolio

    4. Please provide links to some art samples. This is not strictly required, but will greatly increase your chances of being selected. This can be direct links to select pieces of art, or something like a portfolio website or pixiv profile. In the case of linking to portfolios/accounts, all illustrations uploaded to the account MUST come from registered members of your circle (things like retweeting other art are okay). Only still images that can be viewed in browser will be considered. No videos or downloads.
    If you have produced doujinshi in the past, a place where these may be browsed is encouraged. A storefront is okay, but only what is free to view will be considered.
    If you will be selling a game, links to things like store pages, itch.io pages, and developer profiles are encouraged.

  6. This is merely an application, and does not guarantee you a space in Fanime 2026's Manga Ichiba. Those selected to participate will receive final registration and contracts at a later date.

    All terms and policies in both this application form and the Fanime 2026 Manga Ichiba Information Guide are subject to change. In the event of such changes, the updated information will be made available to you before final registration is confirmed.
