Looking for a new experience this upcoming FanimeCon? The Attendee Relations department is looking for people to help make the convention a better place. We’re an ever-growing event and now is your chance to give back!

Attendee Relations staff are responsible for customer service and safety at FanimeCon. Our staff can be found throughout the convention helping FanimeCon attendees, and ensuring that the convention is as fun and safe as possible. Attendee Relations staff have many responsibilities, but can often be found doing the following:
*General Safety: Preventing unsafe behavior and activities (such as running, blocking doorways, etc.), and escalating any unsafe situations (harassment, spills, facility issues, etc.) as efficiently as possible.
*Peace-Bonding: Checking that props are compliant with FanimeCon’s Weapons Policy, and tagging the ones that pass at our peace-bonding station.
*Line and Crowd Control: Ensuring that crowds stay orderly, as well as keeping walkways, exits, safety equipment, and other areas clear for all events at convention, such as Autographs, Black and White Ball, Music Fest, and more.
*Escort Duties: Providing safety escorts for staff, guests, and attendees as needed or requested.
*Lanterns: This is a special team within the department. They handle incident management, and often work alongside Security.

If you are interested in joining the Attendee Relations family, please consider the following:
1. You must be 16 years of age or older by the start of FanimeCon.
2. We ask that you make a minimum of 3 training meetings (either in-person or online) to ensure that you are well-prepared with the challenges that you will face at FanimeCon.
3. All staff members must volunteer a minimum of 24 hours throughout the 5 days of the convention.
4. You should have a love for the community that is FanimeCon, and must be willing to step up to the tasks that are given to you during your shifts!
