Cosplay Photography (Some Experience and Skills Required)

Cosplay Photography is looking for photographers and/or editors to assist with photos for official cosplay gatherings hosted at FanimeCon. Photographers will be responsible for taking pictures at gatherings as the official FanimeCon photographer and submitting them for publishing after the convention in a timely manner. Editors may curate and edit attendee-submitted photos or photos from other staff cosplay photographers.

The majority of our work takes place during daytime hours (10AM-6PM) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Scheduling is flexible and staff are not required to work eight hour shifts every day. There is also some pre-convention scheduling/coordination work as well as post-convention photo editing.


Requirements:
-Familiarity with basic photography skills
-Camera usage (DSLR or mirrorless preferred)
-Editing software
-Experience as an enthusiast or in a professional capacity is a plus.
-Experience with event photography or cosplay photography is also a plus.
-Attendance at 2 mandatory all-staff 1hr meetings in May. (In-person or Remote.)

Photographers should expect to commit to at least 20 hours throughout and after the convention, including photographing gatherings and editing photos.

A basic camera and lens setup can be provided, but photographers are welcome to use their own equipment if they choose.
