Photography (Marketing)

Marketing Photography is seeking photographers of all skill levels; while there is no age requirement, underage photographers cannot shoot any of the 18+ sections.

Marketing photography's mission is to archive Fanime as a whole and to provide marketing with photography to use for promoting Fanime.

To facilitate that, we request the following of our photographers:

* 5-7 curated, edited photos per event
* have equipment to edit your photos on-site; once edited, you'd put them into our onsite NAS
* our requested turnaround is same-day or next-day

Requirements:
* Your own editing equipment
* Some knowledge with camera usage (DSLR/mirrorless preferred)
* Familiarity with basic photography skills
* experience with event photography is a plus

Photography experience, along with having a portfolio, is nice but not necessarily required as long as there's a desire to learn and keep up with the pace.

Photographers are required to adhere to the FanimeCon Code of Conduct and ask for consent when shooting individual photography and while working with other departments to ensure that photography does not interfere with the events being run.

Plan for up to hour of editing for every hour of shooting during con. Shifts might be anytime programming is going on (including morning and late night) and would require paying attention to discord pings for scheduled shots. Pre-con there are optional Discord meetings to introduce yourself to fellow staff and get to know one another a little.
