Manga Lounge Staff

The Manga Lounge is a modest sized pop-up library at FanimeCon, featuring over 4,000 titles. Our lounge provides a quiet space for attendees to read manga or create art.

Join the Manga Lounge at FanimeCon and build your customer service skills!

Our staff responsibilities include:
1. Check books in/out to attendees.
2. Reshelve the returned books.
3. Help Attendees use our Library Catalog Search. (In case they are looking for a specific book to read.)
4. Provide art material to Attendees. (Such as bookmarks or coloring sheets.)
5. Provide a Stamp Rally stamp to Attendees.
6. Keep the Lounge tidy.

What you bring:
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude!
- A love of manga or doodling is a huge plus, but not required.

Time Commitment:
*FanimeCon policy for staff requires a commitment of at least 24 hours over the course of Thursday (Day 0) through Monday (Day 4). There are LOTS of opportunities for hours during this time.
