Karaoke (Open Mic) Info Desk

Fanime's Karaoke & Game Show Dept is looking for friendly folks to help run Karaoke Open Mic! We want people who are friendly & encouraging, who enjoy being where the party's at, and who can handle working in a noisy environment!

Main duties include: answer basic attendee questions, help attendees search for songs, and input their names & song requests into our custom karaoke queue software.

You will be working inside the convention center, with our Open Mic hours open approx 12:00PM to 2:00AM. You will be assigned 4-hour shifts within these opening hours.

Requirements:
* Must be available to work multiple days at Fanime's Karaoke room.
* Must be able to join our Discord & use it for communication during Fanime.
* Must be able to participate in remote training sessions before Fanime, to learn our software & tools.

Bonus:
* Availability during evenings or nights is a plus
* Any experience with customer service or retail is a plus
* Any experience with AV equipment or computers is a plus
* Any interest in music, theater, or live events is a plus
* Fanime's Karaoke Dept has been working together for over a decade and we love putting on a good show. A good sense of humor, a passion for community, and the ability to go with the flow are all qualities that ensure you'll have a great time!
